Since 1953, the Old Bohemia Historical Society (OBHS), a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization, has relied on hundreds of dedicated volunteers to maintain St. Francis Xavier Shrine, a 19th-century farmhouse, barns, museum, holly trees, legacy boxwood, and acres of surrounding farmland. Only through the generous support of individuals who share our commitment to the history of religious freedom in early America has OBHS ensured stability and growth.

The Annual Fund covers ongoing maintenance and day-to-day operations.

The Campaign to Restore St. Francis Xavier Shrine funds construction required to stabilize the foundation of the church and add restrooms.

Join us! Our community welcomes all interested in our history. Members receive a quarterly newsletter, are invited to special events, and the Annual Meeting.
